 Re: The big 50
I hope I'm not being impolite in asking, but how is the forum funded? I see from the WHOIS that the domain is registered to Russ via easily.co.uk so the domain is costing £X/year? And although the forum itself is open source (phpBB) you guys must put a lot of time/effort into it. I know it was discussed before, but is there no i2F kitty? You've all been great in not 'passing round a hat' but this site is so amazing I guess I just feel lucky that it's free

 Re: The big 50
Sam - have you purchased one of the highly fashionable I2F T-shirts & sticker? Summer's just around the corner, so there's really no excuse. viewtopic.php?f=4&t=894that way you will be supporting your forum & helping to contribute towards running costs...

You've all been great in not 'passing round a hat' but this site is so amazing I guess I just feel lucky that it's free Tshirts and stickers are realy the only way were funding the whole site. We currently pay a monthly fee for the server space. I say 'we' i mean we get an invoice from a geek at random camps (you know who you are. ) and russ/ neil paid for the domain. Not much but still they did it. I pay in time. We misjudged the whole tshirt idea really. Why would someone pay to advertise a website they have never heard of?
