I wouldn't worry too much Will. A wing isn't structural, and I don't see any point in larruping filler into a rust hole. If I were you I'd put up with it for the time being and head for the French national in may. At the Dunkirk meeting I bought an imacculate ami6 front wing for about £3 in the flea Market, and there was plenty of choice too. I also bought a set of headlamps for about £26. At the Czech wm there was a guy selling nos ami6 doors, sills, floors, bonnets, bumpers and a complete rear seatbox/sparewheel well which I bought for a ton. You can get bits easily at meeting, so I'd hang on and have a rummage about in a flea Market.

thanks Russ - that's good to know about the flea markets. No wonder you car was so low on that youtube clip - Ami 6 within an Ami 6 by the sound of it...!!

i'm gonna clean back, prepare, paint & wax the holes - no filler, just killer

I really hope to come to the French National - Normandy isn't it? can't say for sure though. I'll pay you to get some panels if not??? how about it:? i'm definately gonna be at Winchester in August

cheers now
Will

I hope to meet up with the Viking when I'm there and bring as much ami stuff home as I can afford, so that's fine with me.

Bodyfiller be the very seamen of Satan himself, although I formed this opinion having owned some Bodged up crocks and having never been any goog with the stuff myself!

Tack welding and seam sealer isn't much better, in my opinion.

Unfortunately, some restorers do seem quite keen on this combination...

cheers though, will be in touch before hand anyway

If you want to say thanks in person, we'll all _happily_ accept beer in a field sometime... <grin>
