No photos again I'm afraid (I need to buy a new camera ) but I can now tell you all that my rollcage is completely welded in with new floors etc. I've just got to seal and paint the underside and then it's about time to fit it on the chassis

Progress has been good here at Spanners HQ today although I still havn't got any photos. The chassis is re-piped and the fuel tank etc is fitted and I've finally finished the welding on the bodyshell bar for a few cosmetic bits. Next weekend will see the shell on the chassis at last! My mate's coming over to help and I've told him to bring his camera so there will be piccies.............................

Re: 1988 Rust Pile-may be a race 2cv one day....................
Yesterday was a great day progress-wise. The shell is fitted and bolted down and I've fitted the modified and lowered steering column too. A few little things have come to light such as the fact that the rear tyres are going to rub on the inner arch thanks to the negative camber but that's nothing that a big hammer and block of wood won't fix! I'm still waiting for my mate to e-mail me the photos from yesterday but in the meantime, here's a couple of random ones. Preperation of the Heath-Robinson body stands I made More photos later hopefully.......................
