 Re: Cool 2cv pictures 3.
I assumed they were standard, as they appear in this advert for the Mehari?

 Re: Cool 2cv pictures 3.
I've got a feeling that the reverse rims were fitted to coincide with the launch of the Mehari II in 1977/78...

According to the article in Planete 2cv, the Mehari II differs from normal by having enlarged rear wings to recieve larger wheels and 155x15 tyres. Apparently, only available in orange, except a few rare examples used by the Argentine telecom company 'ENTEL' which are a fetching shade of blue.

Neil, never heard of it before, but I'm guessing that this Mehari II was an Argentinian enterprise, especially since the word 'fibreglass' appears in the picture of that orange thing. Perhaps it was the South American equivalent of the 'El Cid'? I've worked on a couple of the UK efforts, but never again... ken. Yep, Argentinian market, although from what I understand it was a pukka Citroen job.
