OOooo! Know I shouldn't, but I quite like the look of that conversion, especially if it is easy to fit/remove and won't damage paintwork.

Can't see the plates on that 2cv, but I suspect it's Scandinavian, and the idea came from...

It is from Japan, seen at FBM (French Blue Meeting) at Kurumayama Park, happens each year in November or October, for all French cars.

That transparent mehari is awesome!

I really want that! Mind you though, I've already had more than enough people drive into my Mehari, saying "I just didn't see you", so I think that one might be a bit too risky! On second thoughts, it's worth the risk!

To be fair, that's not because a Mehari is somehow less visible, but because they DON'T BOTHER TO LOOK...

(Yes, I've had one of those journeys to the office this morning!)

Rather more to the point though, there's a slightly fundamental problem with that Mehari if you're planning on using it. No wiring loom...

you could fit flashing lights all under the bodywork, they'd see you then. :D

They probably wouldn't.

I think there might be, looks a bit like there's some wires cable tied to the space frame in this picture, and one running to the indicator. I wouldn't be surprised if it's been routed along (or in?) the chassis to make it all look prettier.
