I have seen this twin wheel arrangement before. not only do you jack the vehicle up to let the wheel hang down you then have to jack the other arm up out of the way. Don't see a lot of point to it really can't make much of a difference to stability over the lomax single arm system.
A Lomax is 3W is great fun to drive but that hideous thing below must be a brat in the corners.
My old Lomax still about then?

The last I heard of it a friend of mine bought it from Peter Cross, I drove the bastard thing from his place to Dover in the snow whilst it broke down constantly between bouts of 90mph outside lane thrashing. Eventually, I'd had enough so I took the voltage reg off it, put a hammer through it and called the RAC out, knowing they wouldn't be able to fix it and I'd get a ride home in a nice warm Beavertail. By some unlucky coincidence, that could only happen to me, the husband of the woman who bought it was driving my 2cv back, and we'd lost him hours before that happened. about 20 mins after we stopped in the service station and knobbled the lomax, i watched as my 2cv spluttered into the services with no lights and a screen full of snow. Guess what'd stopped working?
Anyway, after both cars being towed home and I'd thawed out, the lomax got painted orange and the woman tried it on with me behind her husbands back, so I've not been round since (she was a pig). That was about 3 years ago. I've not seen it since.

I'm probably biased, because I'd sooner leave a lomax with 4 wheels and put a 2cv body back on it...
the 4 wheels lomaxes are the ugliest thigs ever, and i always thought 3 wheelers were the ultimate in pointlessness sean

I personally do quite like the 2cv front end on dyane body, slightly more than the 2cv front end on 2cv body infact.
