 Re: Cool 2cv pictures 3.
The pic's flagged as 1968. The 2cv's an odd 'un. Ripple, suicide door, six window - Belgian? Slough with the extra window added? Can't see if it's RHD or LHD. Comments in other pics in the set suggest they're stills from various period films/TV programs - no idea what, though.

What's the one in the foreground? Reason I ask there is a guy near me who has one, I see it flash by occasionally.

It's a Wankel-powered hydraulic-suspended Ami coupe, the Citroen M35. I'm not aware of any M35s in the UK - or, even, of any having been here. There's probably only about 20-30 worldwide, out of the 267 built - Citroen took them back at the end of the trials and crushed them. http://www.citroenet.org.uk/prototypes/m35/m35.html

Yep, it looks exactly the same, like an Ami coupe, only it's a red one. The only other thing that looked remotely like it shape wise was an experimental electric vehicle made in America, I can't remember the name of them but they were all supposed to have been recalled and crushed.
