Hi Joe, If you're trying to fit a modern stereo unit with ISO connector plugs like Luke showed you the pin layout for, then the easiest way is to go to the scrap yard and cut the plugs out of a modern car. If you can get them with enough wire on you might even be lucky and not have to lenthen them.

You'll still need Lukes diagram, but it's much easier than trying to fit seperate spade connectors for each wire.

I expect that halfrauds sell a universal wiring kit, but I doubt it's cheap.

ahh ok, thanks joolz, well i have the connectors to go into the back of my cdplayer, but they dont have much wire left on them, think they were cut from another car ages ago - not completely sure lol thanks for the adv anyway :) ill have to go down our local one with dad and see what we can do!

hehe im not too lazy, and i already have them :) just need to wire everything up! and my problem was no knowing which wires went to where :P

Honda and vauxhalls are the ones to head for in the scrapyards, they came with the iso wiring you can just chop out and use. Stick it in your sky-rocket and walk away.... :lol:

btw guys, my test has now been moved closer - again :D so instead of being march 12th, im now march 2nd :D

Picked up a new..ish ventflap today! very good one too minimal surface rust! came up better than the car after a polish! just gotta get the the rest of the dash back on and my wipers and then thats it! shes ready :D

test on monday :)
