ahahaha yeah they were a little... glad it hasnt rained since the national... lol... roundabouts and stopping were like an impossibility!!!! and russ..... my chassis is fine now... ....ok it will make do.... its better than what it was at registers... it was well and truly.... shafted...

Gay Joe - have a look at your carb where it's mounted to the manifold with 4 nuts. If the front two nuts are lacking their locking washers, they're Portuguese - so I've been told. My 1989 has them missing... (Could be other explanations, of course...)

i know...  well... she definately needs an early 60's grille, and im thinking black roof aswell at some point.. my uncle has been up the unit today and wants me to make a few drawings for him so he can get the metal made up for my sill which as you know needs welding.. she does need 3 new doors as the original ones are shot to bits... but other than that... i wont be doing much more
