I think Black wheels with coloured rims could look good, and I can't think of any other cars I've seen with them but coloured stripes on sportsbike rims look good.

Maybe the same colour as the body or maybe a contrasting colour, or maybe two contrasting colours not black.

I don't think coloured centers with black rims would work, they'd not stand out from the tyre and make it look like you had really small wheels with very high profile tyres.

Joolz, i was originally going to have black wheels with Flourescent pink rims... i wanted something that was going to wow abit... well either wow or the "suck air through teeth when you see it" kinda look.... hehe but mine are all black with standard hubcaps and they looked ok but the look kinda wasnt there... then i lowered her yesterday.... and somehow making her lower has completely changed the appearance of the wheels and i now think all black looks amazing!

Mine are Gloss black though... i think if they were matt or satin then maybe the merge effect might show abit more... im not sure!

This is the kind of look you need. In my opinion anyway ;)

Yep.

Nice wheel to arch interface and black rims. It's the way forward.

That's just my opinion though...
