 Re: MY AMI 8 BREAK
The springs look like smaller 2cv ones to me, but i migh be wrong. Ami8 chassis last forever anyways.

 Re: MY AMI 8 BREAK
Excellent work!
It looks like it's all coming together now then, I'm looking forward to seeing it completed. At registers day there was an AmiSuper which had just been restored. It had been dragged from a field and was in a real mess, the guy had no previous experience and made a really nice job of it, I neglected to take any photos but it went to show even a car that's comparitivelt hard to find can be brought back from the dead, keep on plodding!

 Re: MY AMI 8 BREAK
managed to get a bit more done this week and today, not touched it for about 3 weeks this side seems a bit worse than the other side as the front door pillar will need a lot more work finished off the floorpan today though so just needs some repair section made up front and rear getting there slowly! i found a bit of rust today !

 Re: MY AMI 8 BREAK
WELL as it seems to be Ami month on here i thought id bump mine back up started back on the body about 3 weekends ago,the front inner wing is finished and wing is back on cut out and repaired the rear bump stop mount,it looked ok but had a rough patch and fibreglass over the top then finished off the end of the new sill repaired a small area by the rear bumper mount just got to do the strip along the top now where the rear wing bolts through and thats all done the wing needs work before it goes back on though then either onto the roof gutters or probably going to get the outer rear wing off and see! ive taken some pics as i went so i will add these next week if anyone want to see still need some seats,or else im going to have to bite the bullet and get them recovered
