Nice pics Jon, I agree about gearboxes, I'm scared to take angines to bits, gearboxes are for those with special powers I think.

Latest purchase for my racer-should make it easier to lift the engine in and out for the somewhat regular gearbox changes!

Thought I'd just add a little update here as I've not written owt about her for a while. Some of you may be aware that the gearbox started to give up the ghost on teh way back from registers however, that wasn't the only thing to happen. The O/S/R wing made a bid for freedom too! In the meantime, Russ brought me a gearbox along to Snet which, as it was still in the boot of the BX at the National-I had Rick Pembro look over-he gave it a clean bill of health. Just need to finish that G&W D*lly thing that's in my garage and I can get on with my own car then.

Gay_Joe, I'm not telling you how to fit one best until your car is fixed properly! Maybe a bit spiteful but I know what you're like and the splitter will come first if we're not carefull

i'm liking the red & white look, the cars starting too look like a real 'smart' racer now, keep up the good work, also like the boot sticker i've got some firestones sitting here for you, when you make it down.
