Why what on earth is the new chassis going to offer over either an Original pattern or a good C section replacement?

What C-diddy is reffering to is for raiding its a stronger chassis specialy made for raiding and people who like to take their 2wds 2cvs offroad. me nor C-diddy have shares in barbour 4x4 we are saying this because we belive in the cars, there is no underlying reason as you suggest.

The chassis is still in development but we think there is a market for a good strong lightweight raid chassis and building on what we know from our 4x4 chassis we are in a good postion to test and build it. I'll put you down for one..

thats what its going to offer.. ^^^

Just a footnote Roo-pot. The word ’’good strong’’ should be replaced with flexible and durable. My advice is to speak with very experienced raiders, they know.

this has gone beyond a joke now.
I'd almost reached the point where it seemed a waste of time having any further involvement in discussions about chassis with you, however your illogical belief in the benefits of a 'flexible' chassis really does needs to be challenged.

It's probably best if we take it in easy stages, establishing and agreeing on one fact at a time...

The first and most important is that a Citroen chassis is actually stiffer in both torsion and bending than any aftermarket chassis which I've had tested, apart from the race version of my own chassis produced specifically for the UK race series.
The testing included a UK built chassis which claimed to equal the OE chassis, until my 'field' test rig discredited the testing carried out by Status at UMIST.

The testing was carried out at a reputable organisation, which regularly carries out similar work for both Nissan and Renault.

Is there any chance that you could provide documentation to support your claim that a Citroen chassis is 'flexible'?

Original or not stiff allowing stress and shocks to be absorbed and spread out through the chassis. many people will claim that they can feel a difference after changing from original to galvanized chassis. The original chassis will twist and turn during cornering unlike stiffer chassis.
