 Re: AZL 1957
I did at last find the overcooking problem of my late bosses Volvo Duett. After all kind of problems it turned out the new thermostat was not functioning well. After 4 minutes idling the water burst out of the radiator overflow, new owner was happy.

 Re: AZL 1957
Our neighbour has a friend who owns a volvo PV444. Nice car , but sadly the previous owner had it resprayed in black, where as the original livery was mint green. It is often here in Ráksi for minor repairs, the other day my son had to weld the !!!!original!!!! exhaust .

 Re: AZL 1957
Yes they are nice cars. The 444 is my favorite with the split windscreen and much nicer dash than the 544. We are going to install an overflow tank.

 Re: AZL 1957
The little oil leak is still there. I can't find the location so i put a little aluminum plate above the exhaust. Bolted to the cylindre head. Hope the oil will now drip left and right of it. I made a little edge on the rear so the oil will not be blown on the rear end of the exhaust...we will see.

 Re: AZL 1957
Took the blue out of the garage today after 11 months. Battery was dead but i did buy the 15 euro one a few months ago. Swopped it over en the car started right up. Only have to get used to the position of the direction indicator and starter key again...

 Re: AZL 1957
Did a quick check under the bonnet today and yes 2 feed of the metal airfilterbox (like the one on the picture) were broken again. it's very strange they were already broken 4 times???? I don't understand why. It is fixed to the gearbox at 3 points and moves together with it????
