 Clutch bearing Not sure if I am being paranoid but when I engage clutch I get an extra noise could it be the clutch bearing?

If the noise stops when you do not engage the clutch it most certainly is the clutchbearing ..

Re: Clutch bearing I've done 100k plus miles with a rumbling clutch release bearing and it's still going strong. It'll probably outlast the gearbox at this rate.

Re: Clutch bearing I had a faulty clutch bearing ( new, but of poor quality) which came out in two pieces as I changed it for another one . In the end the noise was so loud , it gave me goose pimples,but it kept on going .
