That's a so called PO-bumper. A lot sturdier than the normal ones. They were also on post vans and on the Sahara...  I found a new old stock one on a french scrapyard. They are really great. Not to difficult to make youself. It also has a skid plate that goes under the chassis.

In the past there was someone here who made them.( There used to be someone here who made them) If that's the correct way to say in English. I forgot who it was and if he still is actif on this forum.

No,I believe it was a private person. As Rob probably will make his own bumper, I thought he might ask for the exact measurements !

Yeah, ECAS have a L.B. PO bumper, I'd love to buy it but I can't afford it, however I can afford to make one! The correct diameter of the tube would be a great help  Ebay overriders are arriving soon.
