i reckon we should get together & really push the camping aspect of the 24hr meeting. It's awesome event to have but doesn't really attract the campers, fun & games like the Spa 24hr. it'd be nice to see a good show of numbers & support the drivers & teams.

maybe next year we could turn up in big numbers? what do you reckon?

I reckon if us three pulled our fingers out (me neil russell.), we could get onto sorting out a big camp.... First international 2cv friends camp?

We have the entertainment, we have the field, all we need is some form of bar... we slog it to spa.... i reckon if we started now we could achive somthing, Dutch can get a hook - harwich ferry, freaks fm all nighter. would be ace. . . whos up for it?

All the H&S assessments, public liability insurancec, MSA permits etc - that stuff doesn't come for free, and it IS needed...

I will deffo be there next year, whether im on a team again or not, im definately gna go again! big camp sounds good! even have the banner up

No it isn't Adrian, well not entirely, there's nothing stopping anybody turning up friday and camping there all weekend, as I have done several times already.

I will certainly liase with the C2CVRC and see if we can have a kind of 'official' organised camp there aswell, I can't see any problem.

At Snett? The circuit will already have covered all that sort of stuff. Sorry - I was thinking you were talking about a "green field" camp.

Snett is perfect really as it has loads of space, showers, toilets, a bar and food all there already, I will speak to Hollis and see what we can arrange.

I do feel that this event needs help to make it the 'Special Event' it really is, I am sure all at the C2CV Racing Club will agree.

Next year is the 20th running of the 24 hour race
