 Re: Is my wheelbearing gone??????
Did you hit something that caused the alighnment to get fooked up? That may cause judder on higher speeds, also play on your king pins can cause that, jack up the wheels and put lots of heavy duty grease in them, then check if you have any improvement.
Good luck finding this!

 Re: Is my wheelbearing gone??????
Thanks guys for thinking with me..
@ Rusty.. No bumps made with it...
This evening I changed the rear gearbox mounting and put on yet another wheel it brought a little relieve but it is still there...
@ viking, Theres no play whats or ever in the whole train avant.. Can it be that the outputshaft bearing in the gearbox can make this judder???? your the expert in thisI guess
Letting it roll out from 100 to about 60 you can feel each revelotion of the wheel/driveshaft...
The wheelmounting is also a possibillity but nothing has happend to it????

 Re: Is my wheelbearing gone??????
Driveshafts dry of grease perhaps or old grease very sticky? Driveshaft bolts loose? - if not, maybe try rotating the stub by a couple of bolts and see if that helps....front engine mounts gone?

 Re: Is my wheelbearing gone??????
If disc model, push the brake pads back, grab the disc by hand to feel for any play. If out put hub bearing is buggered, it will give you the vibration you are mentioning + the disc will move slightly

 Re: Is my wheelbearing gone??????
This reminds me of something that happened on one of my Dad's old 2cvs, way back when I was still a kid. We were on our way back from holiday, when it started doing something similar to what you describe, and my Dad had to nurse the car home at a steady speed. It turned out to be the drive shaft. I don't think my Dad investigated it particularly thoroughly, but it was cured with a change of d/s.

I don't think my Dad investigated it particularly thoroughly, but it was cured with a change of d/s. A DS would cure my pain also at the moment, but no option at this time... I changed already the outerjoin of the drive-shaft and afterwards the complete driveshaft.. What did I change sofar Wheels= tried 4 diffrent wheels driveshaft= first outer driveshaft then complete driveshaft wheelbearing= brand new wheelbearing and seals (so I didn't need to change it all... bugger) gearbox-mount= put in another (good) gearbox-mount checked all play, which is only marginal (car has done only 47000km) stood over 23years in a barn.. greased it all... So now I hope it is the right output gearbox bearing as mentioned above, I'm going to change this this evening.... It is my all-day runner and also my 1-2-spark/1-2-squirt testcar so it needs to be in technical good condition... I'm working on it now for the past 3 or four evenings... It is bugger in the 1. degree I can assure you.... I need the car in good shape this weekend, I'm going for a 600km drive with it...

Rusty wrote: Did you find out what caused it? No... still jidder when going over 100km/h.. changed also the wheelhub and right gearbox output lately,, so almost have changed the whole right side of the cars driveline... I don;t know what it is but it is very annoying..... If I put the right wheelarm on a jack and put the car in gear it will jidder when a wheel is on and doing 100 on the speedo.. Without a wheel it doesn't... Tried 4 diffrent wheels which I know they are balanced..All other wheels don;t do this so it has to be the right front driveline... For now I leave it like that and just drive as it is.. Hopefully it will get worse and I will find it at last..
