 Re: A 4x4 is (re)born
Geo, an observation, from my set-up/Tests (Numerous). My 2 springs worth.. If your suspension is too hard, maybe move the Mounting point, 15mm back up the arm. A small change in the pivot makes a large difference to the springing.

 Re: A 4x4 is (re)born
I will STEAL your plans for the support of your Air Shocks... Even though my front suspension is trailing arm, I can utilise the same sort of frame, to allow the arms to be pushed down. Like your project even more know...

 Re: A 4x4 is (re)born
Here are the pictures you requested, please enjoy.. Be aware that this is just my first attempt, welding somethings together without much effort (so if it doesn;t work I didn't spend to much time on it...) So some things look unfinnished and shabby and ofcourse they are at he moment unfinished and shabby However overall I like it a lot and this will be how I'm going to do it (some minor detailed changes and that's it)... I will only upload 1 foto here (because they are really big pics) so follow the links please... http://www.2cv4x4.nl/2cv4x4/DSC_0386.JPGhttp://www.2cv4x4.nl/2cv4x4/DSC_0387.JPGhttp://www.2cv4x4.nl/2cv4x4/DSC_0388.JPGhttp://www.2cv4x4.nl/2cv4x4/DSC_0389.JPGhttp://www.2cv4x4.nl/2cv4x4/DSC_0390.JPGhttp://www.2cv4x4.nl/2cv4x4/DSC_0391.JPGhttp://www.2cv4x4.nl/2cv4x4/DSC_0392.JPGhttp://www.2cv4x4.nl/2cv4x4/DSC_0393.JPGhttp://www.2cv4x4.nl/2cv4x4/DSC_0394.JPGhttp://www.2cv4x4.nl/2cv4x4/DSC_0395.JPGhttp://www.2cv4x4.nl/2cv4x4/DSC_0396.JPGit will take a while to upload the foto's so come back later
