eh mister Pony... Can-bus is a system most ultra modern vehicles have, theres only one wire running trough the whole car/motorcycle/plane
to which everything is connected and it is running by electrical pulses....

p.s. like your version too...

what a bus
must have one, but can i have the short wheel base one!
and the green
Perfect
Re the one wire system
when we are in Morvan covered in shit and water lost, 3 km from anywhere no tools and stuck 100% in glue mud
and that one wire is broken and nowt works.
That is the time
when an all mechanical system feels good!
bye the way my full rear diff lock works on one cable mechanical!
so would that be a can bus??

Test 2.

No Leaks, System also has no air in it now as the system cycles it self bleeds the air out.
Simple switches with only 5 wires to allow control of each corner.
As can be seen in the video the suspension is quiet hard, as the sphere used is a C5 front one, going to try and obtain as C5 rear sphere as the run at only 32bar as opposed to 44bar for the front.

Very nice!
Maybe you can let some gas out of the spheres, or mount it closer to the turning point of the arm, to make it softer?

Thanks AZS,
Using C5 spheres, they are sealed for life, but I will try to get a rear sphere as they are softer.
Moving the mounting point could make them softer, but the load on the piston will be increased...

That pressure is the gas pressure, nothing to do with your suspension pressure...

Pressure on your suspension cylinders depends on mounting points, cylinder diameter and weight. Measure the cylinder pressures, after that you can decide what is the best pressure on spheres...

More gas pressure, softer suspension. For example, Sm and Ds has same suspension arms, cylinders etc, but on Ds front spheres is 59 bar and at Sm 40 bar. At rear, both have 26 bar spheres. And, surprice, the Ds suspension is much softer than Sm...

Also, when gas is leaking out of spheres, the suspension get harder...

Of course, the damping unit makes some differences, there is much more than only the central hole on damper valves. As far as I know, there is at least four different thicness on damper plates, and couple of outer diameters, and depending on solution, there can be anything between one or several disks on damping valve...

I would have rebuildable spheres from Ds, what had also rebuildable damper valve...

Very excited about that suspension, much easier to handle height corrector valves with C5 pump unit than earlier versions, but the earlier ones are more reliable than that electric C5 -one...

Hi Jasu,
Thanks for the info.
Have seen on else where info on Gas pressure/damping and how it works, http://www.frenchcarforum.co.uk/
Cant move the mounting point easily, so will have to alter the sphere/pressure.
My understanding is LHM spheres (with Re-gass and Rebuild Valves) do not fit the C5 strut, but have a lead that a French guy has made an adapter?

You're right, my mistake, unless the initial pressure in the sphere is already higher than the needed oil pressure, but then you would have no suspension at all.
Maybe it would be possible to mount 2 spheres in parallel?
