Impressive it is, however I don't like drilling holes (almost) under the oil-level and making another possible spot for oil leaking...


(can't you adjust the speed versus /tooth and put it somewher higher????)

Yes, it is a long term 4x4 project, started over 15 years ago. Really it is almost ready to install to chassis, only some small issues left...

Same reading could find from gear at uppes shaft, but that gear is too far for that sensor. Maybe with longer (all way threaded) sensor could be used there? But, the sensor has O-ring sealing, what is very well working solution on its original place (in H-D gearbox), and for surprice it hasn't start to leak there. That gearbox have been very hot, with GSA brakes, and when tuning the supercharged engine...

Those gears are only suitable gears for that speedometer on 2CV box...
