Re: Make Your Own ....2CV.... 4x4 Yep it works... Did you only have frontwheels engaged??? otherwise your cheating with your rearwheels....
So if I understand right you are braking the left frontwheel (looking from your view inside the car) so the right wheel gets traction....
How does it work?? do you pull some switches and then press the brake?? Please explain..

Re: Make Your Own ....2CV.... 4x4 In Front Wheel drive only. Push the brake pedal. Close the switch for Left front wheel. Drive off  The diagram show an ABS shuttle valve. The text shows how is used in an ABS set up. I use the valve with the other way round (reverse arrows). When the pedal is released the valve stays shut under pressure Attachment:

With no power to soleniod/shuttle-valve, fluid passes thru and brakes work in the normal way.
Just like an ABS system during normal braking.

so no chance to sell more Quaife!!!!!
bugger i thought after selling 150 of then there could be a future
How wrong i was!!
i will move over to making furniture and beds
and throw all my last 20 years off road experience experience in the bin,
probably buy a fiat panda 4x4 and retire to Spain
