This evening I made the gusset plates for the seatbelts. I realise I've managed to spend ten or eleven pages talking about putting seatbelts in a ropey D*lly which may be the most boring thread this website's ever seen. The first car I did after we set the site up was the bastard bamboo which got lowered as low as I could get it and painted in graffiti and it looked the tits and screamed 'youthful exuberance'. This car screams 'boring old man'. Ah well.

Here's some photo's. Maybe later in the week I can post some more boring waffle about welding them in.

I had a little windfall today which was lovely, it means I can spend a few bob on making this a bit nicer.

Is the consensus here that I've made a seat belt mount that looks 'too strong'?
