 Re: What did you do with your A Series today? The little AZU did well yesterday. About 160 Km with no trouble at all including the ascent and descent of the Col de Portet d'Aspet. Great day out with a couple of Tractions, a DS Super, an Ami 6 and plenty of other cars, 25 in total which for our little retro club is a good turn out. Plenty of food and wine at lunchtime - typical french. Attachment:

Whats the camera with GPS? It is a Garmin VIRB - I use it for my bike so I can get the descents and try and teach people how not to kill themselves.

Re: What did you do with your A Series today? Started it and heard a knocking from the engine - I think is may be the fan, hope nothing worse. Maybe my marathon drive last weekend has had more of a toll on the little engine than I had thought

Re: What did you do with your A Series today? Yup - it was the fan. The rivets had become a tiny bit loose so the fan was knocking on its own axle. Tried to tighten the rivets but no good. So two blobs of weld did the job - all fixed. Panicking as it is Nogaro tomorrow which I have been looking forward to all season

Re: What did you do with your A Series today? Got to Nogaro a little early. The 4L struggled a little with the towing but averaged 60kph on quiet country roads. Hope sun comes out tomorrow Attachment:
