I always carry a blob/ball of "Blu-Tac" in my socket set ......for that very purpose ;) ....[although a bit of used chewing-gum would prob'ly do the job just as well]

Remembered I put the cap on top of the last bowser I was at, I remembered saying to myself 'don't forget it's there!'

Found that an average sized WD40 can lid or similar fits perfectly over the top as a very short term solution

Cleaned the engine, checked the oils.

What pressure is required in the tires - just want to get everything ready for this Sundays monster tour (180km including the Col de Portet d'Aspet)

Drove to a client on the Wirral via a drop in Winsford - lovely day to start, mild and sunny, so dropped roof and wasn't till about J15 on M6 when started persisting down so was praying that traffic didn't stop or slow down much from 70 - at that speed most rain seems to go over the top - suffice to say came back with roof on!

You have pilotes 125*400 I guess, they are advised at the soft side, 1.2 bar in front 1.6 bar at the back... But I would advise you 1.6 and 2.0* for long journeys....

* try it with cornering, more pressure is more topspeed but less cornering performance...

Cheers for that - I just tried to get the front wheels balanced at the local Norauto. Their machine did not have any adapters to fit my wheels on. Pain

All ready for the road trip on Sunday
