Hi, I read somewhere some time ago about this mod so as I had to replace a king pin set I thought I'd try it.
Drilling and tapping the casting for the grease nipple was no problem but I could not get a drill to touch the bearing.
Anyone know of this mod or has tried it?

Sorry, no picture. Just came across this some time ago whilst looking for 2CV info and can't remember where I first saw it.
I assume this was to overcome the problem of grease not always getting to the top bush.
I have regularly greased both sides equally but the the right hand side seems to have worn whereas the left hasn't.
As the posting hasn't generated much response perhaps I dreamt it

This solution should work quite good and should't be to difficult to fabricate.
