Yesterday I 'showed' mine at the Chilsworthy, Latchley and Cox Park Show in deepest S.E. Cornwall. Loads of bumpkin and farm type characters present - I loved it!

It was the only foreign car there.

Magic. Wish I'd come down for that.

Thought I might as well adjust the tappets, as I'd got the wings off, and one of them was only finger tight, so that's a good deed done. Had to visit Halfords for some fuel pipe as ours is all 1/4" and too loose on the tank outlet. They didn't even know they had any fuel hose until I pointed out the reel of it behind the parts counter and as they had no idea how much it was, gave me a metre FOC :)
I actually managed to get all eight joints in the exhaust to seal too - productive day overall.

Painted the valve covers red too, so it should be much faster now.

I'm gonna paint 'MPH' on the bottom of my Acad's speedo.

Should be good for the ton after that.

Drove along the Polish coastline from Wolin to Koszalin, which was a bit disappointing, too hot, too busy, too seasidey (like Skegness but without the class, or a post apocalyptic Vendee). Now in the 2CV hotel at Koszalin, which is a bit of a building site during renovations. Will take & host a pic later.

Popped down to Lerwick two weeks ago to get two new Toyos fitted but the garage had a broken machine so couldn't do it. Well I've just come down to Lerwick today and got those tyres fitted. That's the good news. The bad news is that they broke a captive nut that holds the centre trim in place. :-(

Got a thumbs up off a copper driving north out of Lerwick on the A970. :D
