Re: What did you do with your A Series today? On commencement of exhaust fitting shenanigans, found the petrol tank was leaking, so gave up and drank fruit cider instead. Tank looks to be leaking from above, what's the most likely culprit?

Re: What did you do with your A Series today? the bit of pipe at the top of the tank is a common problem from what i've read. I think fixing it involves dropping the tank.

Re: What did you do with your A Series today? Yeah, if the car still runs you're still doing well. Empty the tank so it's manageable and it's not a bad or hard job to do. Simply drop the tank, replace the pipe on the sender and refit the tank.
