Very nice setup, with a soupçon of sponsorship from Cochonou there, if I'm not mistaken.
Also looks as though the weather for the Tour is back to being as good as it was for the Grand Départ in Yorkshire... ;)

On commencement of exhaust fitting shenanigans, found the petrol tank was leaking, so gave up and drank fruit cider instead. Tank looks to be leaking from above, what's the most likely culprit?

the bit of pipe at the top of the tank is a common problem from what i've read. I think fixing it involves dropping the tank.

Yeah, if the car still runs you're still doing well. Empty the tank so it's manageable and it's not a bad or hard job to do. Simply drop the tank, replace the pipe on the sender and refit the tank.
