 A Frame for towing.
Somewhere on the forum is a pic of a well made A Frame that bolts on to the front bumper?... I think it was Ken? Done a search but cant find it, can somebody locate it for me. Cheers Peter

Pete, it doesn't bolt onto the front bumper, but forms (most of) the front bumper. When the A frame isn't attached, there are a couple of curved end pieces which fit onto it. https://www.flickr.com/photos/30132857@ ... d2x-bTdcFg

Hi Pete, yes, I used two sizes of tubing which nested together well, so the inner could be used as pivot pins for the A frame and also as 'plugs 'n sockets' for the removable bumper ends. subarupete wrote: Thanks Ken, thats the pic. Are the ends of the bumper also plugs in, so to speak?

Made a start by adding towing eyes to the front bumper.

Wow watch out there! Original bump supports aren't that strong! They suppose to bend when you 'touch' something! The 'official' stuff is either fixed to the original towing eyes on the chassis, or with a special plate directly bolted to the chassis! (My personal favorit) it just has 2 'hinges' that can go up and down but no sideways movement possible. This will give the most control.
Also think I've seen something that was fixed to the front suspentionarms. Didn't like that one.
