Alternator had stopped charging and became apparent yesterday as the car became a little more difficult to start. Got one of those three point chargers installed to run sat-nav and charge phone, which has a circuit fitted that cuts power to whatever is plugged in, so realised the system wasn't charging. Lifted bonnet to check alternator when I got home and discovered the thicker of the two wires that attach to the alternator had snapped off. Five minutes work and it was fixed. :-D

Lucky, if the end had found a nice ground, it could have burnt your car.

Did some cosmetical work to the Ami.. Changed the front bumper, now it only has the bits on the corner, center piece is out, as is the overrider..

need to mount the license plate somewhere.. on the bumper, under the bumper or in the middle..
I think in the middle, what do you lot think?

Did a spot of work on the old Acad with the 2cv front end.

Put new front engine mounts on.
Swapped gearbox oil (have big puddle on the drive as a result)
Tappets
Tracking
Grease job

Discovered a hole in the mid driveshaft gaiter

AK 350 got it's ride height lowered too.

Busy day! :D
