Chasing My Tail..

Because the steering column has been moved up the Bulkead it pushed the Steering Wheel nearer to the seat, such that my slim frame was a bit cramped.

TO DO.

Robust Front bump stops????
Figure out why the steering doesn't self-centre.
more Caster Angle may be required...

Pete,
could be the camera angle, but there seems to be a fair bit of negative camber on the offside wheel, more than is on the nearside.
If that's the case, it would make the car pull to the left, iirc...

Hi Ken,
Looked like that to me, adds to my woes.
Quick measure, nearside 1deg offside 2.1 deg , with my Iphone . Using the flat part of the wheel centre...
Its now raining....

Aaaah now I know at last where the heck a I-phone is for...

Is it running already on 1-2-Spark or is it also on the todo list....

p.s. self centering has to do with Caster not with Camber.. It doesn't like right anyway, Ken has a point there, but you noticed it already...

Think about a shop trolley wheel when giving Caster to it/lining it up.... then it can't go wrong....

Otherwise looking superb ;)
