Bought some of those Burton exhaust clamps, I've not been able to get a good seal on mine for ages but now it's gone full on super loud. Quite funny, it pops and crackles when you change gear :-)

Anyway haven't fitted them but keen to get the quiet back so hopefully this weekend.

Oh and another coat of POR15 on the bonnet hinge area :-)

Painted my wheels "Gloss Hammerite White" today :|
Because  ......after setting of to my local club meet [RADARS*] on tuesday night,I was stupid enough   to hit a f***in' bollard in the middle of the road ....resulting in two completely [F&R,R/H side] fubar'd wheels & tyres.....I got to the pub and fortunately, only the rear tyre had gone flat.
Fubar'd rear tyre duly changed with my brand new never been used [26 year old  ] 125x15 MichelinX ......which happens to be on a white "D*lly" [?] wheel :? [thats why its never been used, the car came with four grey wheels and a white spare  ].
So I looked at the car this morning, with a nice shiny white wheel on the R/H rear ......and though ..."Hey,that looks better than sh*tty "Hammerite" gloss grey".
So .......today,I have been digging out two use-able wheels from my "pile of spares" & painting them white ......fortunately,last year,I bought two new tyres at Registers day .....and tommorrow, before I set out for Registers Day [hopefully  ] .......I'll be visiting my local "back street tyre emporiun" and asking them to sort me four good tyres onto four good rims.

*RADARS ....[Rotherham and District Association of Roaming Snails] .....meet every 1st Tuesday @ Bay Horse,Scholes .....just two mins drive from from J35/M1.

Drove it home from registers to south coast loaded with camping gear & Solex on the back. It didn't like this, unhappy engine with no power  Guess wot I'll be doing with my A series next...

Spent time removing front wings and cleaning six years worth of oil and crud off the inner surfaces. Vastly improved the look under the bonnet, paintwork on inner wing is still new looking.
