 Re: The Dirty 'D'
Once the drive shafts had been cut down the mounting for the front air shocks were made up and welded into place.. As per the rear mounting plates were made up to bolt down onto the chassis rails......

Then bolted into place and the notch made for the drive shaft.... With the frame work added to the plates for the upper shock mounting, this frame travels under the starter motor to the other side and this cross brace also bolts into place... Working out the angle for the top mount proved to be a real pain, but i got there in the end....

 Re: The Dirty 'D'
So still on the to do list.... Mod the oil filler, move the alternator down... Cut down the handbrake arm and the gear selector rod.... Cut down the tie rods (most likely this will get done on the refit).... Cut down the inner wings and allow them to fit around the shocks... Cut and UJ the steering column.... After this is done blow it all apart for powder coat and paint, the plan being to nicely detail the running gear and underside but keep the top looking crusty ..... Have i missed anything that will need modding? Thanks for looking Ben.....

 Re: The Dirty 'D'
No as Chris says the tyres are just touching the top of the arches not only at the front but all round.... It had to keep 15's all round as i do not like the look of 13 inch wheels.....
