not wanting to be annoying but what you've bought, isn't G3 which is made by Farecla... but would be interested to hear about what you have is like. I've never heard of it before!

Sam's original post with Cosette's recent purchase superimposed... they look like the same thing to me (ie: Farécla G3)

I wonder what the difference between the G3 in the yellow tube and the G3 in the black bottle?

I think the black bottle is the 'consumer' stuff - small bottles. My parents buy it for the boat in massive yellow buckets, but it costs a fortune.

its good stuff, but for boats I've now moved on to Farecla profile 200 which is much more coarse than G3... makes G3 seem like auto glym super resin polish compared.... very good for Gel coat, but probably no good for paint...

I've no idea what we pay for work as we have it on credit but every time I have in an order it seems to be an expensive order....

Drove over 300kms to cycle race (another story) but on way back the car started to get noisy and even did not seem to pull up the long climbs on the motorway as quickly as normal. Quick check of gauges and nothing abnormal - next down hill, out of gear and quick rev of engine - rev'd fine, back in gear and there was the noise - when I came to turn off the motorway found I now had judder from the brakes..... Think gearbox, diff assy, what ever is f--ked.
When the weather gets better will remove and see if I can see anything..

Not a lot but did put some washers on bottom hinge of front door and, Voila!, gap along the bottom of the door has disappeared along with the draught....

As I'm down in Worcester with the 2CV I partook in ARTists' Drive It Day convoy around the roads of Gloucestershire and Herefordshire. It was meant to be a combined convoy with the Cotswolds Citroen Specials Club, but they chickened out. About 6 2CVs and a Dyane.

Pompey Puddleducks Drive it Day convoy today and there was a good turnout of eight A series. First stop was a pub with a nice H Van Pizza wagon parked in the carpark, used every Fri/Sat evening:

....and finallly Littlehampton seafront for a mid afternoon lunch.

We enjoyed a very well organised and educational day and a credit to the organisers. Happily also, the heavy showers mostly stayed elsewhere.
