 Re: 1-2-spark
Just a little update.... sold 4 kits past month so I'm soldering again. 5 pieces this time. 2 kits are ready and claimed again already (1 to Subarupete) so business is booming Also I have bought a ready to roll Visa engine with a Dyane gearbox which I'm going to collect saturday, so then I can start to test the Visa (replacement) sensors. I hope to have a plug and play version for Visa soon.... Started to setup the http://www.1-2-spark.nl website also; for now it is in Dutch and under construction but it's a start.... I also found a knockcontrol which could accually work together with 1-2-Spark retarding the ignition when knock appears!!!!!!!!!!!!, Take a look at this, but at the moment with the tempsensor and tableswitch you can really tune it almost to the limit over the whole RPM/map/temp ranche..

 Re: 1-2-spark
Today I re-fitted 1-2 spark to the car. I also fitted my new yellow Harley coil.
I've read the instructions, so tomorrow I will fit the temp sensor in place, and post some pictures.....
Geo the new vacuum hose is 1000000000000000x better than the old one....
Car fired up straight away on 1-2 spark, ran a bit rough but probably because I siphoned all fuel off and only put a gallon of fresh in so air in line.....
Hopefully the combination of 1-2 spark, Harley coil, and fresh petrol will get me a pass on the emissions!!

 Re: 1-2-spark
James, guess you like a bit of overkill... With that CO reading being only just outside the limit, some fresh fuel and 1 turn inwards on the idle mixture should have done the job. Re: 1-2-spark
Jameswallace I think Ken is right. Better turn the iddle screw a little inwards that will do the trick.
If it still runs rouhg you can make the maplagfactor smaller. Take a look under the settings tab.. The mapgauge should be around 1 number lets say 22, 23 when on iddle... When mapgauge is going up and down you can make the maplagfactor smaller it smoothens the readings...... Ddid you use the welding tip to let the air pass? It is a sort of restrictor. .6 or .8 mm making the amount of air smaller which can pass and so smoothening the mapnumbers........ Hope you understand..

bets, Rob No not yet. I want to use two Bmw motercylce engine kncksensors (which I bought with my beamer engine) and mount them at the underside of the cilinder barrel. There is a hole in there to fix the coolingfair, to me that seems the ideal place.....
