Post Changing body from Dyane to Mehari
Been thinking about this for a while - Can I change my body from Dyane to Mehari? Do I need a different Chassis?

You can; All Mehari where built on a shortened Dyane chassis, You need to cut about 20cm or so of the rear-legs of the chassis, otherwise it is a perfect fit.....

I've seen that somewhere too. Citroen did a lot of that (Dyane6 400, Ami 6 AK350)

Citroen's "Characteristics, Adjustments, Checks" tome makes reference to the 'Dyane 6 Mehari'.
I'd guess that the official commercial symbol being 'AY Series CA' contains a clue, mind you... ;)

Whats the plan on space frame bit at the back? Buy new or make one yourself?

Ive repaired a couple of them over the years, if you can get some dimensions then not too tricky to fabricate one that will do the job.

No, just find somebody with a Mehari who you could swap with ;)

Except I don't think I could. I have a something of a sentimental/emotional attachment to it...
