Changing body from Dyane to Mehari
Been thinking about this for a while - Can I change my body from Dyane to Mehari? Do I need a different Chassis?

Re: Changing body from Dyane to Mehari
You can; All Mehari where built on a shortened Dyane chassis, You need to cut about 20cm or so of the rear-legs of the chassis, otherwise it is a perfect fit.....

Re: Changing body from Dyane to Mehari
Citroen's "Characteristics, Adjustments, Checks" tome makes reference to the 'Dyane 6 Mehari'. I'd guess that the official commercial symbol being ' AY Series CA' contains a clue, mind you... ken Sean wrote: were they not "Dyane Mehari" or "Mehari Dyane" originally ?

Whats the plan on space frame bit at the back? Buy new or make one yourself?
Ive repaired a couple of them over the years, if you can get some dimensions then not too tricky to fabricate one that will do the job.
