 Re: Joolz's Red One
The "old stuff" really isnt compatable with todays fuel. Its the Methanol in the fuel,it causes havoc with old rubber hoses. And when they increase the amount,it will be even worse. It also doesnt like plastic fuel tanks

I'll probably bite the bullet and replace it with the expensive stuff, would be nice to know I could safely use the E85 stuff if I wanted to. I'll check all the other bits on the car while I'm about it as it's all the same age. There's a long piece running front to rear that I think I'll replace with some nylon, I would use copper, but IIRC that doesn't like the ethanol much either.

 Re: Joolz's Red One
COCK, WANK, ARSE, AND KNOB. I looked out of the window earlier and the grill was only held on by one bolt, pointing in the wrong direction, and flapping merrily in the breeze. On closer inspection it may have been loosened by the bonnet slamming into the roof. I hadn't fastened the bonnet down again as I wasn't going to drive it anywhere, and seems the wind was enough to lift it up and beat the car over the head with it. The bonnets now mildly fucked, which is a shame, as it was previously very tidy. I've got blasé about the puddles on the floor, but the weather here needs a fucking ASBO, it's like living on a council estate, every time I go outside something else has been broken.
COCK.

 Re: Joolz's Red One
Might just save up the other £1200 for a plastic body shell.
