nah he mentioned it needs headlights george  but.... something dodgy... in one photo it has lights.... and in another it doesnt.... would be great to see this one back to its former glory! former SQUARE glory oh and i showed dad that red/plums spesh.... and he doesnt even want to look at it... or want me to have a "between" car, seenas lily must be pretty close to chassis collapsing point... and i'd rather she didnt while im actually on the move.... he wants to wait to hear from john on the charleston... then decide what todo..... i'll give john a ring in the morning.... back to ebay..... mimosa club got ended early!!!!! wonder what happend?!

is it just me who dislikes the no vent flap look? it just seems like too much empty space

Hmm. Compare the effort of doing all that lot with the effort involved in pop-rivetting a sheet of ally over the flap then slapping some pudding on and a quick blowover with a rattlecan.

nahh i think 2cv's need a vent flap! theres always some warm coming in from the heater pipes.... even when its on full cold.... and i like to have some cool air while im driving, and not just gusts through the window  instead of filling it all in and in some cases.... ontop of a rotting ventflap.... ok just my case... why do that? when you can find perfectly good vent flaps around!

Or stuff two tennis balls into the heater tubes just as they enter the bulk head. No heat at all then for the summer. Take them out in the winter, et voila, all warm again
