 Lumenition
Had it on my D*lly (M28) since I bought it, never missed a beat.
Absolutely sick to death of crappy condensers failing on me. I've spent more than 1/3 of the cost of lumy on points and condenser sets now so I'm thinking I bight the bullet and go for it.
Any issues with fitting it on an M4?

 Re: Lumenition
Hi Sam,
I can't see why a Luminition won't work on an M4 if it has 12volt system. However I would check if the ignition timing and advance is correct for a M4 as I think they are not the same as for a later 602.
With a 1-2 spark you can freely adjust the ignition timing to the correct M4 curve (for full load) + advance more at part load which should lead to better fuel consumption.
Good luck, Bart

Good luck, Bart It's wether it'll work or not that I need to find out! I know the 123 Uni will. I loike the idea of 12Spark but I have no idea about curves and advancing - will 12Spark work without a laptop, can I just whack it on and go?

 Re: Lumenition
Sam, LumEnition will work fine on an M4, since the advance curve is determined by the centrifugal advance mechanism. The usual procedure applies regarding setting the timing at full advance, of course... ken ( What's up with your advance weights, btw? Noticed on that other forum that you think they're 'up the creek'. ) samfieldhouse wrote: Bart wrote: Hi Sam,

 Re: Lumenition
1-2 spark will work without laptop. Just put it on as from Geo and drive. The laptop feature is for people to alter timing etc (do not think they get any more power etc than original settings from Geo) but people like to play......
