So once the repair to the front bulkhead was completed the pedal box mount got cut down and bolted into place.
Taking measurements from the 2cv i have outside all three pedals have a certain amount of travel and i had to get the same travel from the pedal box on the Dyane. The top stops were trimmed back so the pedals sat higher to begin with and the bases also trimmed back... the main problem was the clutch pedal throw this was solved by cutting the pedal off and rewelded back on lower down all sorted...

The pedal box mount was then once again removed and bonded back on as per factory and drilled and bolted lower down...

The back seat has been fitted so the rear mountings can be drilled and refitted....

I like the body shell as it is really, i do want to find a set of early bumpers in grey and slimmer at the back i am not a fan of the stainless steel.

Am I right in thinking that a narrrow 2CV rear bumper is the same as an early Dyane? If so, you'd just need:

and perhaps bumper brackets?

Thanks for the links Neil but i think i need something a bit more battered up, so if i find early 2cv bumpers i just need to add the rubber strips to make them into early Dyane bumpers, is that right?

Plus did you get my PM Neil?

I *think* this rear bumper is the same as an early Dyane bumper:

so that should be a case of lobbing the grey insert on.

2CV front bumpers are different to Dyanes, early or otherwise.

Time for a little bit of negative camber, this will help tuck the wheel into the arch and away from the wing..
