Re: What did you do with your A Series today? Yesterday I refitted my interior mirror after giving it a good soak in the bowl. I can now see out of it  Also used it for shopping, a bloke gave me a wave then the Postman said "Lovely antique car you have there"

Re: What did you do with your A Series today? The tax is up at the end of the month so I'm getting as much use out of it as possible. I've pretty much decided to SORN it from October to protect it from the Shetland winter. It doesn't get particularly cold up here, icy conditions are not the norm, but it does get very, very rough, with wind speeds of 120mph being a fact of life. A 2CV won't cope with that. Lol
PS I really need to sort it's awful cold starting issues, I thought it wasn't going to start at all today! I'm convinced it's fuel pump related. I need to get a non return valve pronto.

Re: What did you do with your A Series today? Went to Circuit de Ramparts at Angouleme, loads of vintage and classic cars including race cars too! Vintage rally tomorrow Angouleme, Rochefoucauld,Verteuil-sur-charante and back to Angouleme. e'll catch them for lunch at La Rochefoucauld..
