the vauxhalls
i drove a pa--(bangered it at matchams park) a pb(2.2 engine) another with a 3.3 pc mum bought me that for my 21st b/day
then i got into banger racing-

The first car that I drove was my driving instructor's Austin Metro (A-reg, blue), which was soon replaced by another Metro (B-reg, red) - this was 1985 One day, when the red one was off the road, he turned up in a Datsun 180B  though I still managed a full lesson with no issues, despite the size of the thing ( compared to the Metro) The first car I bought was a 1974 Ford Escort 1100L After I rolled it, I bought a 1978 Ford Cortina 1.6GL. Then I bought my first 2CV (new, in 1988)...

Re: what was the first m/cy or car that you drove? First car I ever drove was my Mum's BX16 saloon (H984 BOT) on an airfield. I then went on the insurance for my Dad's BX19 estate (G933 EJT) which I learnt to drive in. I bought my D*lly before I passed my test, which I still have and that was my everyday car from when I passed my test in 2006 till when I took it off the road in March last year. I had a brief liaison with a Clio 1.4 while my D*lly was rebuilt after a write off, but a month of that convinced me that A Series were all I ever wanted.

Re: what was the first m/cy or car that you drove? Metro - Same colour as the one in the pic  Have had a range of cars since passing my test  But I tried out a Vauxhall Astra on my Uncles field in Ireland when I was 13

Re: what was the first m/cy or car that you drove? first car i drove was Saab 96. I was 8 and it happened at the ice track. First moto was Kawasaki 1300 and i was 16, from Helsinki to Kuopio.

First car I drove was a 1971 Dyane when I was 10, scared my mum witless (her words not mine) on a local track/"rally stage"  First and only bike was some kids dirt bike at college, accidentally wheelied it across the car park and have been too terrified to go on one since.

Re: what was the first m/cy or car that you drove? The first car I drove legally was my 3 wheeler Reliant Regal van after I traded in my 650 BSA and double adult sidecar.
