What is in your opinion "obvious"? Electrics, airfilter, battery and yourself is what NOT to pressure-clean ._________________

the gear box and engine... as the pressure washer gets past the oil seal lips, tipped a good deal of clean water out a gearbox that had been power washed recently _________________

steam cleaning and power washing are different things

   |   Re: steam cleaning theengine bayTraffic Film Remover, a good selection of brushes and a garden hose.
Gunk/Jizer is a PITA to clean off and causes an oil slick that runs down the road. TFR is far more user friendly and environmentally sound and in my experience gives much better results.

A good coating of oil keeps all the bits from rusting. The only bits I keep clean [on my 2CV] is the oil cooler, coil, leads & plugs . And FFS ....dont go near anything electrical .... [that coating of oil is better than any WDfarty you might wanna spray on it at a later date]. T._________________
