Post Old-style charge light relay?
I found this in the shed earlier.

I guess it's one of the '60s charge light relays, for those few A-series with the alternator with the pair of unrectified AC pins on them.

The part number on it is 8363A-12V-J9
The AC end is marked "40V-1~"
The DC end is marked "L" "+" and "-"

Any idea how to test it, to see if it's worth doing anything with or just binning?

At the very simplest, I'm getting about 8.2kOhm between + and -, and 400Ohm between L and + on the DC end, but the AC end appears to be open circuit.

Sam - I'd say it's come from Hetty-bitz, so you get first call on it, I'd say, if it's worth having.
