Bed in the back of a van
Anyone got any good pictures of beds in the back the van? I want somthing that can ideally be half folded away as having it fitted in can be a pain. Any ideas welcome. xxx

How about having two halves folding down from the sides? Similar to Louis' yellow sprinter.

With that so high up, it will definitely be a case of "don't come knocking if this vans rocking"

This is how we had our last bed and it was way too high. I think I am going to have a permanent box up to half way. This will be a big weight bearer and a place to hide all my shite. Stop everything sliding around etc. I just don't know how to finish it.

Re: Bed in the back of a van
Max, what about laths/slats linked with canvas straps as a support for an airbed or thin mattress, which could be rolled up for storage? Lay them across the top of the 'side boxes' in the van, go any lower and that 1 metre width doesn't give much elbow room unless you're flying solo...
