 Brake centering tool
What do you use I need a slightly better one than the one I made up. Mine are slightly out and I want to get it right. Any pictures, links or drawings would be great Cheers Ian

Yes, original tools are hard to find. Backyarders can use this tool front and rear In short, leave the drum on. Bring the shoes out to near contact with the drum. Remove the drum without backing off the shoes (only possible without any lip on the edge) Fit the centering tool and find the highest point. Set the tool on the highest point and begin centering by turning the lower eccentrics + the back adjusting bolts if needed. Good luck Attachment: Brakes-adjuster-tool.jpg

A piece of 10mm rod and a couple of nuts from brico will do Cheers Boggy

I made this one out of an old pipe fitting - shame to use a nice hub nut !!
