 Re: Gear Box Doing micro surgery removing metal chips. Those bearings are no where to be found. Same for the clip. Earlier boxes have smaller clips. They can't be reused, they deform during removal. Wonder if anybody could suggested a web site where I could order ''normal'' cir clips

Unless Gamboli have the nuts to pounce some faces, I won't be down under until the actual raid 2016 (sadly) It locked up on me in morning traffic... was able to rock it until it popped out of gear, Gricey and I took off the top plate in situ and replaced the bearing with a secondhand one, thats a rebuild right!?... It has a crunchy 2nd unless you know how to finesse it also. Rebuild it will be, and likely wont get done until you come out  Thats crap you wont be out for the survey, I understand the lack of communication and organisation from the raid organisers. Harley

Re: Gear Box As soon as one is finished, another arrives. This one came by post. The 2cv was won by a lady at the world meeting Czech Republic but gear box buggered. Who supplied the 2cv? Think they like Port Now what is wrong here Not much to do except some bearing etc (still more than 2 hours  )
