I was wondering about that...
Have you drilled some extra holes in the bulkhead, instead of feeding the complete bundle through the original single hole?
If so, I'm not sure that there will be enough length of wiring on the cabin side to reach all of the connections on the instrument panel.

Thanks for the advice, I'm a long way off worrying about the grommet :D
I've split the harness open and loosely fitted it in place, any connections I'm 100% sure about, I will connect, anything I don't know where or what it does/goes, I will trace it and label it up.
Any damaged ones I can replace , and I might even consider buying some better connections!
I'll get there eventually, but anyone can feel free to chip in with advice and suggestions, I'm really greatful for any input.

I've fed all wires through the large one at the top, and fed the wiper motor through the smaller one, admittedly, I did drill another hole, as when I laid out the harness, it seemed to split into two with two large grommets, so I presumed it might be a harness from a different year ( nothing a blanking grommet won't fill)
I'm stuck for time at the moment, but I intend to trace each individual wire and then feed the whole harness through some plastic type mesh we use in work, looks very tidy and is easy for feeding I extra wires in if needed.
Cheers
Paul

Post Re: Wireing problems?
Looking at the voltage regulator, found one grey wire cut?
I've got three grey wires,
Green end feeds from the alternator
Brown end to earth I think?
But the blue one?
Without showing me a diagram, as I'm obviously a thick sod, can anyone tell me where this grey wire with a blue end feeds to?
I'm doing quite well, I've got the wipers, rear lights ,brake lights ,indicators plus a nice clicks from the starter motor, all wires are identified at the front of the car, just need to sort out the flasher can which is buzzing on the hazard position, but clicks nice and quiet on the left/right . Might be because I don't have anything wired at the front?
Also found a black plastic thing tied to them flasher can, looks like a diode inside and spade connections either end?
Any ideas what this is?
