The MOT man says...

Tyres touch inner wing when it's bounced.

They don't.

Shock abosorbers don't work.

How can they test a batteur?

Indicator is wrong shade of orange.

Give me strength.

Exhaust is too loud compared to a standard version of the car.

The last and only Ami6 the tester saw was this one, when it went for last years MOT, and passed. With the same exhaust...

Headlight aim too high.

How hard is it to turn that knob under the dash?

And it came back with the ignition barrel broken (for the second year running) and the bonnet catch not working.

Arse!

yeah it's annoying because I go through my local Citroen specialist, I take the car to them, they check it and take it for test, this tester fails something stupid every time I go there and now he's taken to making up problems I'll be taking it somewhere else next time, the sad thing is my local Cit place (who are great) are gonna lose out.

Ah well, another weekend under the car fixing stuff, back for re-test monday, if it fails again Harry has agreed to get it sorted at the place he uses.

 :(

Thau shant see thy Ami anymore.

Barry is a wanker, he has good days and bad days, we had the local VW specialist see us moaning about the Mot tester on how he failled a VW that had 1 halogen bulb on 1 side and 1 normal bulb on the other side...he only knew because he took the bulbs out to see as 1 looked brighter than the other.

My dyane...when i took it to him...(now i ask for the boss to mot my car... he didnt know the handbrakes are on the front he is that good...) he failled it as i removed the door handles from the inside of the car...

Russ, dont give up on us..PLEASSEEE

Rest assured jack, I won't be giving up on MCR, but I just won't be bringing MoT's to Linchs!

He should've been shopped to VOSA then-we are NOT ALLOWED to remove things, lift up carpets/mats etc etc. If he removed the bulbs on an MOT test, he was breaking the MOT "rules"!

Anyway, as long as they've both got a good beam pattern and the aim is right, so long as the one bulb wasn't substantially dimmer it wouldn't matter. Or, to put it another way, you couldn't fail a car just because it had a halogen bulb one side and not the other. :ugeek:
