 A Non-Sense of Direction - Terrence Kennedy
After hunting for literally YEARS, I managed to track a copy of this down in a 2nd hand book shop in London last week. For those who don't know, this is a fantastic travel journal, detailing the travels of the author and his partner through many years of overland exploration in a succession of A-series cars, namely a Mehari, a 2cv van of unspecified variety and then a Mehari 4x4. It was one of the first travel journals I ever read growing up, and is probably my main reason for ever getting interested in these amazing cars in the first place. I was wondering if anyone knows what became of the author and his partner? I've hunted and hunted the web to no avail, and as the book was pretty much self-published, there aren't any contact details for the author that I can find. I'd love to know if they continued their adventures and their love of 2cvs and the like. Anyone know them, or could enlighten me?

Also, now that I think about it, has Louis Barbour done a little bit of copying on his logo??

Brilliant book - read it a couple of years back... not sure if I have it, borrowed it or got it from library...

As Mike says, brilliant book. Haven't seen mine for a while but hope it turns up soon as I'd happily read it again. The section involving the US customs man used to make me chuckle.

I meet this guy in 1995 in Word meeting in Maribor. Also have his book... brilliant. In that time he was living in Bahrain as I remember.
